a california christmas eve
So today is Christmas Eve here in California-land...well it's Christmas eve in every land right now except maybe the places where time zone differences means it's Christmas already. I'll be leaving for the Philippines the day after tomorrow, although I'm not quite believing it yet. Besides all the gift-buying for pasalubong and the fact that I haven't really unpacked from flying back here, I could just be lazy as opposed to going halfway around the world. Anyway, here in California-land I've been celebrating the holiday season by going through my typical daily routine: sleeping, eating, watching tv, and being semi-productive by wrapping a few presents. My tv show of choice as of late has been the last two seasons of Gilmore Girls, seasons 6 and 7. In a little less than a week I watched all of the episodes, and let me just say that Gilmore Girls is always satisfying, but it always is accompanied by a nostalgia.
