Grecian Influences
A little late, but here's some pics from Halloween weekend!
An assortment of cosmetics, our kitchen table was covered in eyeshadows, foundation, brushes, oh yeah and a knife.
My attempt at a Greek goddess--I took a decorative sheer gold curtain, and my fabulous roomie Kristine wrapped it for me. Holding the curtain on its side like a towel, we wrapped it by having me stand in front of it, crossing over the two corners, and tying it behind my neck like it was a halter top. To give it shape, she gave me a stretchy black belt with gold fasteners. The cuff, earrings, and gold headband Robin lent me. My makeup is normal face makeup + more bronzer, gold tinted lipstick and gold eyeshadow. The fun adventure was figuring out those fake eyelashes. Self-adhesives aren't so reliable (aka, the adhesive is so shoddy that it wouldn't even stick over eyeshadowed eyes), so I asked Star if she could assist me, and fortunately she had the adhesive in the tube. I accidentally went a little overkill with the amount of adhesive, but at least they stuck the whole night!
Post-Halloween/early November, Cherilyn and I went on a photo date with Sonia's camera. (These pics are actually from my camera though!)after walking around the typical Brown campus locations, we found ourselves at the John Brown House Museum on Power St.
Trying to be basic but classy, I wore purple tights, a baby doll-shaped black dress (my mom picked it up at a thrift store), and a khaki-colored cardigan. It was so chilly (windchill around 37 degrees), so whenever we took off our coats, we took the pics really quickly!
Hopefully more photoshoots to come!
